In the most recent RAJAR figures (July 2011) Planet Rock reached a weekly audience of 857,000 – up from 797,000 in the previous quarter.
Current star presenters include Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott, who has presented a weekly Saturday evening show at 6pm since June 2010 and Glenn Hughes of Deep Purple and Black Country Communion, who has hosted a Sunday evening show since June 2011. Blues guitarist Joe Bonamassa presents a monthly show on the last Saturday of each month at 7pm.
