Launching on the 8th July, 30-second commercials centred on Age Cymru will be broadcast across Gold Radio channels in North and South Wales, running for a period of 2 weeks.
Narrated with clarity by a female voice, the advert immediately addresses its target audience of “50 years or older”, continuing to outline potential problems which could be aided through Age Cymru, such as “finding it hard to make ends meet”and “where to get help with those little jobs around the house”. Highlighting their position as “the older people’s charity for Wales”, the brand explains their role in providing an assortment of services for those over 50, supplying a contact telephone number and encouraging listeners to search for Age Cymru online.
With the highest percentage of over 65s in the UK, the population of Wales is in need of a support system that can provide assistance and advice to its of older people. From free information guides and its telephone helpline, Age Cymru supplies a multitude of services throughout Wales thanks to a combination of fundraising and research.
The radio advertising format will allow Age Cymru to access a nationwide audience, thanks to airtime slots across both northern and southern divisions of the Gold network.
