People 1st are launching a radio campaign to encourage world-class customer service ‘ahead of the games’

Research undertaken by The People 1st Training Company shows that almost three in four Brits think customer service needs improving in the run-up to the Olympics, which is estimated to attract 8 million spectators to London.

Summer 2012 will be a hugely busy period for hospitality, passenger transport, travel and tourism businesses, and the eyes of the world fall on the UK.

The airtime campaign aims to attract business owners and developers to hire People 1st to train their staff in the run up to the Olympic period, before it is too late.

Radio Airtime Media recommended the adverts to run on LBC 97.3FM as the station’s core audience falls within the ABC1 demographic. The station describes itself as ‘London’s Biggest Conversation, which accompanies Londoners through their daily life’. The campaign will reach 1.16 million listeners across the two weeks, with an OTH of 5.6 times.

The airtime advert runs with the inspirational sound of a crowd cheering and various sporting sounds, and is accompanied by a ‘text mechanic’ in which listeners can text ‘World’ to 81156 for further information and a member of the WorldHost team will contact them.
