Fleetmatics Return To Radio Airtime Media For Irish Advertising Campaign

Having managed a Fleetmatics radio campaign in February, Radio Airtime Media are extending their partnership with the GPS fleet tracking provider through 4 weeks of advertising airtime on News Talk FM. Following up from their earlier heavyweight campaign across Scotland, the Irish division of the company are launching a marketing strategy on the country’s national news station.

Three separate 30-second adverts will be aired throughout May, encouraging business owners using “a fleet of 5 or more vehicles” to consider using the Fleetmatics service in order to make their company operate more efficiently. The first advert takes a generic approach, giving an overview of the benefits which can be obtained through Fleetmatics, such as “increasing productivity” and “cutting costs by decreasing the amount of fuel you use”. The second and third versions present specific customer testimonials, explaining how each has saved money and maximised success through using the Fleetmatics software. All three adverts conclude with an offer of “free installation worth €100 per vehicle” upon mentioning ‘NEWS TALK’, ending with the fleetmatics.ie/newstalk web address for further information.

With a substantial back-catalogue of advertising experience, Radio Airtime Media have the capacity to strategically implement the marketing objectives outlined by Fleetmatics. The radio format provides an appropriate outlet for the campaign, as drivers have a higher chance of being exposed to the radio than many other forms of advertising. The 4-week duration will allow a thorough coverage of target audiences, reinforcing the Fleetmatics name and cementing the brand within the public sphere.
