Radio Airtime Media, part of the Media Agency Group are launching a Radio advertising campaign to raise awareness of Get Safe Online.
Get Safe Online Week, part of the UK calender from the 22nd – 26th October, will see a team of industry experts will tour London, Edinburgh, Leeds, Belfast and Cardiff as part of the Click & Tell Roadshow to spread the word about being secure whilst online.
The radio airtime campaign features on Bauer and Global Radio Groups targeting stations Capital FM (across the UK) Choice FM, Gold London, Cool FM and Total Forth.
Get Safe Online is encouraging everyone to ‘Click & Tell’ – check out advice on the Get Safe Online website, pick up a few online safety tips and pass them on to friends, family, colleagues, neighbours or even strangers who may benefit from the advice.
Each day, the Get Safe Online tour bus will be visiting schools, universities and city centres in Cardiff, London, Leeds, Edinburgh and Belfast to hand out free advice on how to keep secure online. Radio Advertising in the areas will encourage people to attend the roadshow and receive invaluable advice.
Tony Neate, CEO of Get Safe Online, says: “Put simply, the internet is one of the greatest inventions the world has ever seen. It has so much to offer us all. Get Safe Online Week is definitely not about taking the fun out of being connected online, but about making sure everyone knows how to stay safe and secure when using it. We want to get as many people as possible sharing their experiences to make more people aware of how to protect themselves, their friends and family online.”
