Radio Airtime Media are launching a radio advertising campaign for the Maris Liepa Ballet Gala which is to be held for one night only on Sunday 29th July at the London Coliseum.
Saison Russes de XXIe Siècle will present a stunning Gala performance at London’s Coliseum in tribute to the legendary Bolshoi dancer Maris Liepa, performed by international guests from the Bolshoi Ballet and Mariinsky Theatre.
The Russian Ballet chose radio advertising to promote the performance as the Maris Liepa Gala presents the only opportunity to see the world-celebrated dancers perform in the capital during summer 2012, as their will be no full company visits to London by either the Bolshoi or Mariinsky Ballet companies this year.
Radio Airtime Media recommended radio airtime advertising slots on Classic FM coupled with online sponsorship of the Classic FM website. Roadside six sheets throughout London, planned by The Media Agency Groups outdoor division Out of Home International, will compliment the campaign.
The sponsorship of Classic FM’s website will see a lead and side banner for the Maris Liepa Gala directing those who click to the Maris Liepa Gala website which provides information and facility to purchase tickets to the show. The online advertising will generate 300,000 impressions over the two week period (figures from Global Radio).
The multi format campaign will launch Saturday 14th July 2012 and will run up until curtain call of the Maris Liepa Gala.
Advertising artwork for the six sheets and web banners were designed by the Russian Ballet’s internal team.
